The Walmart.com Affiliate Program is a way for you to earn commissions by placing banner ads or text links on your website to refer customers to Walmart.com. You'll earn money every time a visitor follows a Walmart.com link on your Web site and then completes a qualifying purchase at Walmart.com.  Walmart.com uses LinkShare as our Affiliate Service Provider. LinkShare provides Walmart.com affiliates with one simple interface to track all their sales, impressions, click-throughs and commissions. Access to site information is password protected. LinkShare and Walmart.com do not collect or track any customer information that may be sensitive, such as credit card numbers or private data. We provide you with professionally designed banners and a set of useful text links every week in our newsletter. We also provide you access to archived banners and newsletters for a wide selection of items to place on your site. In addition, you can generate specific text links to anything on Walmart.com, any time you want. Place these banners and/or text links on your Web site to let your visitors know about our products. When your visitors follow the links and banners to our site and then complete a qualifying purchase, your account is credited with a commission. You do not need a Walmart.com affiliate account to access banners and text links. As an affiliate, you can offer your visitors access to the excellent values and tremendous selection at Walmart.com. And every time your visitors follow a link from your Web site to Walmart.com and completes a qualifying purchase, you’ll receive a commission. No. It is absolutely free to join the Walmart.com Affiliate Program. Once you are approved, you can get started right away! You’ll receive a weekly newsletter with banners, links and information about great products to feature on your site. You’ll also receive access to the Affiliate Member Center, where you can get more banners, generate links and get data feeds to further customize your Walmart.com referrals to your visitors. You’ll also have the support of the Walmart.com Affiliate account team members, and all the great tools our partner LinkShare provides. We make it as easy as possible for you to get the most out of the program. We review each application carefully and determine eligibility at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to reject or remove sites at any time, for any reason. Affiliates can earn up to 4% on each eligible sale when a customer links directly from a Walmart.com link on your website and completes a qualifying purchase at Walmart.com.
Additionally, we occasionally hold sales contests and other opportunities throughout the year for more opportunities to earn commissions. Commissions are paid on monthly net sales, and do not include returns, sales tax or shipping and handling. Using the LinkShare interface, you can access daily reports that provide information on impressions, click-throughs, orders, sales and commissions earned. If a customer returns a product for a refund, or if credit card charges are reversed due to a dispute or credit card fraud, your account will be debited for any commission earned on that transaction. Once approved as an affiliate, you'll have access to a variety of links to feature on your website. The types of links include multiple sizes of banners and buttons, text links to department, category and item pages, as well as Dynamic Rich Media links.
